About the event
Contemplative Outreach of Lexington, Kentucky is a local chapter of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd.
The larger organization, Contemplative Outreach, Ltd is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith communities founded in 1984 under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Thomas Keating. Fr. Keating (1923-2018) was one of the principal architects and teachers of the Christian contemplative prayer movement and, in many ways, Contemplative Outreach is a manifestation of his longtime desire to contribute to the recovery of the contemplative dimension of Christianity.
